Lil Wayne’s upcoming album proclaims (yet again) that he is “not a human being,” and if the cover art is any indication, he’s taking his latest inspiration from butterflies.

Wayne’s tenth album, I Am Not a Human Being 2, is set for release on March 26 and features cover art created by DONDA, the design company Kanye West founded last year. A red butterfly sits on a solid black background on the minimalistic cover.

“[Kanye] had an explanation behind it – he said, he chose the moth butterfly thing because it has so many different stages of life, and it goes through so many forms and changes, and no one can figure it out, and it’s always beautiful,” Weezy told New Orleans site NOLA.com of the album cover. “At a time it’s ugly and at a time it’s beautiful too. And that’s me.”

DONDA also made the art for the album’s third single, “Love Me,” featuring Drake and Future. The single’s cover follows the red and black butterfly motif of the album cover and features an animated version with the insects flying in and out of view.

Kanye’s design co. – named for his passed mother, Donda West – was also behind the two gold chains that hung against a black background on the cover of 2 Chainz’s Based on A T.R.U. Story.
