The clip takes viewers poolside in front of stunning (but smoggy) L.A. views, where K.Dot jumps in for his verse. Both rappers get a little groovy, but the scene is certainly no house party – just some pals casually soaking up the glamorous life and showing off their riches.
The Eif Rivera-directed clip perfectly captures Fif’s sentiment: “They don’t do it how we do/N***** ain’t on the shit we on/Everything new/Spikes on the Louboutins.”
A preview video of a different version of “We Up,” originally featuring G-unit rapper Kidd Kidd, was posted to 50 Cent’s YouTube channel last month. However, the extra feature was cut from the final version of the track, which was reworked and took a different direction in the new clip.
