The first workweek of April has officially come to a close and it’s really starting to feel like spring with baseball in full swing, don’t you think?

As the temperatures begin to heat up, so does Hollywood and all of its drama!

Yes, after weeks of awkward confusion, NBC finally announced Jimmy Fallon will take over as The Tonight Show host once Jay Leno’s contract expires in February 2014. In a show of solidarity earlier this week, Fallon and Leno teamed up for a dramatic duet.

At least NBC doesn’t have to worry about The Voice! The reality singing competition continues to dominate in the ratings, which comes as no surprise considering how competitive those blind auditions are.

Speaking of The Voice, did you see Blake Shelton’s appearance on The Talk? Sharon Osbourne got a little frisky with the country singer, even though they’re both happily married!

And finally, the Los Angeles Lakers retired Shaquille O’Neal’s jersey at STAPLES Center. Several stars, including Jack Nicholson and former coach Phil Jackson came out to support the 7’1″ legend, however, rumor has it Kobe Bryant turned off the TV in the locker room when fans started to cheer “We want Phil!”

Listen to how it all went down this week in Carson’s recap:
