Singing Club Songs In Public: Surfer Stephen’s Viral Video Of The Day
Some of the songs we play at AMP Radio have some pretty stupid lyrics.
I mean, I’m not going to lie. Tyga’s “Rack City” may be the worst song I’ve ever heard.
Now, I don’t know Tyga personally, but I’m sure he’s a very good guy. I just don’t get how that song was such a hit.
Let’s review some of the excellent writing from the song: “I need my money pronto. Get it in the morning like Alonzo, Rondo, Green got cheese like a nacho. If you ain’t got no a**, b*tch, wear a poncho.”
Seriously!? Now the thing about it though is you love that song, otherwise it wouldn’t have reached the top of the charts and that’s totally okay!
I listen to a lot of music people can’t stand, so to each their own.
Now onto today’s Viral Video of the Day. There’s a lot of these songs we love turning the volume up and singing along to because we love the energy and the beat, which is awesome.
When you pull up to a red light though, down goes the volume and you sit patiently still until it turns green again. It’s weird, but it’s uncomfortable to sing in front of people and what if your teacher or parents read the song lyrics to you? You’d turn red in the face.
Check out this kid as he hits the streets of Santa Monica and Venice to serenade people with some of the lyrics you love to sing for today’s Viral Video of the Day…pretty funny stuff.
