Cursing News Anchor Gets 15 Minutes Of Fame On Network TV
Talk about a crappy first day on the job!
A.J. Clemente, a recent college graduate, had quite possibly the worst news anchor debut ever after he swore several times within the first few seconds on air.
The North Dakota NBC affiliate initially suspended Clemente and then later fired him after the clip went viral on YouTube.
Throughout the whole fiasco, Clemente’s been a good sport, even poking fun at himself on Twitter.
Rookie mistake. I'm a free agent.Cant help but laugh at myself and stay positive.Wish i didnt trip over my "Freaking Shoes" out of the gate.—

But don’t feel too badly for A.J. He’s become an unlikely hero, appearing on several network shows this week to talk about his embarrassing experience.
First up was TODAY, where he explained to Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie that he didn’t realize he was on live TV when he started throwing around the f-bomb.
Then, he made his way over to LIVE with Kelly & Michael. They offered him a job interviewing movie stars at the red carpet premiere of Pierce Brosnan’s “Love Is All You Need.” Sounds like a pretty awesome promotion if you ask us!
Finally, he stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman where he admitted to Dave that he won’t be heading back to North Dakota anytime soon if ESPN comes a’knockin’!
