Four artists on The Voice will be voted off the show tonight, so it should come as no surprise that Teams Shakira and Blake Shelton gave it 110% during Tuesdays live playoffs!

Blake’s crew opted for an all-country vibe while Team Shakira mixed it up with some oldies and top 40 hits.

Carson Daly (and his glorious bouffant) were on the scene to watch it all go down and our host with the most shared his predictions for tonight’s elimination:

“Blake was so happy because he’s got these country artists and they were all doing these sorts of obscure, but great, classic country songs,” Carson told Producer Angie. “It’s cool the network let him do it too because usually on these shows, they have to sing all Carrie Underwood or stuff like that, which is okay, but it was nice.”

In fact, Carson revealed that Shelton showed up bright and early Tuesday morning, not because he was asked to be there, but solely because he wanted to support his artists.

All the hard work certainly paid off. 16-year-old Danielle Bradbery’s recording of “Maybe It Was Memphis” is sitting pretty at #4 on the iTunes singles chart.

As for Team Shakira, Sasha Allen was the obvious standout with her wailing performance of “Oh! Darling.”

“I cannot figure, for the life of me, who’s going to go home,” Carson said. “Let’s just talk about who’s not going home for sure. Judith Hill’s not going home. I mean, Danielle Bradbery’s not going home. Sasha Allen, not going home! After ‘Oh! Darling’ last night? She’s not going home.”

“I mean, these are not stretches here,” he added. “Michelle Chamuel for ‘True Colors,’ yeah okay, so she’s not going home. Sarah Simmons, not going home after doing the Sarah McLachlan song. I don’t think Amber Carrington’s going home.”

“You know, Caroline Glaser, great singer, but I mean look at the team she’s on. She’s got Sarah, Judith, and Amber. That could be tough. Again, I don’t know.”

And just because someone had an incredible performance doesn’t mean they’re safe. Carson explained that the coaches’ decisions are rarely based on just one night of singing.

“Let’s use Team Shakira, for instance. Let’s say America saves Sasha [Allen] and Karina Iglesias. Now I’m standing next to, let’s say, Garrett [Gardner] and Kris Thomas, right? You may say Kris Thomas is a better vocalist, right? But the girls seem to love Garrett.”

“These coaches will, in their one-coach save, they’ll save somebody for reasons maybe other than how they just performed yesterday or on Monday night. It’s still a long way down to the finish line. It’s the complete package.”

Find out who America and the coaches save tonight at 8pm PT on NBC!
