Today’s Viral Video of the Day is all about knowledge.
We’re going to look at two videos. The first contains some unfortunate facts about modern living, but they’re also very interesting. The second, which is a longer watch but really worth it if you have the time, is a portion of the late author David Foster Wallace’s inspiring commencement speech he gave in 2005 that was recently turned into a short film.
One thing I really enjoy about the internet is the information that we have at our fingertips. This video falls in the category of Steve Jobs’ great commencement speech at Stanford and also the TED Talks, which I haven’t gotten into just yet, but I’m excited to check out.
It’s basically about daily life and the choices we have. I, for one, personally enjoyed this video because I do try to think this way as often as possible, which, at times, I fail at.
I think it’s very important to respect those around us no matter how bad our day or days are because we don’t know what that other person is going through in their life.
Drop some knowledge on yourself for today’s Viral Video of the Day and do yourself a favor and sit through the 9 minutes or so video of Mr. Wallace’s commencement speech. It’s worth your time.
