Daft Punk’s fourth studio album, Random Access Memories, was so hyped up even before it hit store shelves and if you didn’t believe the hype, you should have.
It set a record on Spotify as the most-streamed album in the U.S. It also reached the number 1 spot on the UK charts, selling over 165,000 copies and becoming the year’s fastest-selling album and the group’s first number 1 in their country.
The album has got some toe-tapping songs on it and will help to bring back a little funk in your life.
The Huffington Post UK put together a compilation of some of the most famous dancing sequences from film set to what may be the song of the summer, “Get Lucky.”
It’s got a few of my favorites mixed in as well…the great Mike Myers from Austin Powers, Kevin Bacon’s jam from the original Footloose, and last but certainly not least, Turbo from Breakin’s broom dance. Turbo was pretty fresh and a way better B Boy then Ozone for sure, FYI!
Also what’s up with Kevin Bacon or Ren? He’s all fired up, so to blow off steam, he just dances it away. I mean that’s what I do.
I’m so mad I think I’ll drive my yellow VW Bug to a warehouse and just dance it off? I don’t believe it for a second, but I love me some Kevin Bacon, so I’ll let it slide. It’s pretty rad, check it for today’s Viral Video of the Day!
