Hanson are finally of legal drinking age and in honor of the band turning 21 they’re launching their very own beer.
Cleverly named Mmmhops, the beer is brewed in the trio’s homestate of Oklahoma by local craft beer company Mustang Brewing and will be available on Hanson’s upcoming world tour, which kicks off with a special 21st birthday show on June 17 in New York City.

Although the beer won’t be on-sale until the band hits the road this fall, the guys debuted the brew at the premiere of The Hangover Part III, which features their song, “Mmmbop.” Taylor even got a chance to share a brewski with one of the movie’s stars, Ed Helms.
To help fellow Oklahomans in need, the band is currently selling special Mmmhops related merchandise with all proceeds being donated to the Red Cross to aid in the disaster relief efforts.
“The tragedy hits close to home, especially since this community was among the first places our band performed together, including schools which were lost in the storm. We are hopeful that the proceeds we can galvanize will play a lasting role in the recovery efforts,” Taylor said in a statement. “We have loved bringing people together around music for the last 21 years, and ‘Mmmbop’ which inspired the beer’s name is a song about holding onto the friends and moments that count. We want to use this opportunity to make the release of Mmmhops one of those moments.”
Hanson’s sixth studio album, ANTHEM, is due out June 18.
