Hell hath no fury like a Blake Shelton scorned!

The Voice coach went into full-on protective dad mode the other day after a critic made a snide comment about his recently-eliminated artist, Holly Tucker.

It all started when Joey Guerra, the music critic for the Houston Chronicle, tweeted an unnecessarily harsh headline:

Tucker, 16-year-old Danielle Bradbery, and Team Adam’s Amber Carrington all hail from the Lone Star State.

Within just a few hours, Shelton struck back with a series of irate messages:

Guerra did not personally respond to any of Shelton’s tweets, but another writer from the Houston Chronicle posted his own thoughts on the publication’s website.

  • Do you think Blake Shelton went too far or did the writer deserve to be called out for his comment? Sound off in the comments section!
