Many brides want to look their very best for their big day, but one so-called bridezilla is taking matters to a whole new level.

Health and fitness expert Rainbeau Mars reportedly asked all her wedding guests to take part in a vegan three-week cleanse beforehand so that they’re all slimmed down for those ever-important photos!

“Rainbeau hopes that by requesting her guests try out a vegan, and subsequently live food, diet for 21 days, everyone will look and feel their best for HER big day,” her publicist said in an email to the Huffington Post.

According to Mars’ website, the cleanse is a “zero calorie restriction, plant-based food revitalization program” aimed at strengthening the immune system and increasing energy.

Guests can also take advantage of activities like breath work classes, yoga, and horseback riding once they arrive for the event, which spans over three days in Kauai, Hawaii.

When her story went viral, people were outraged by her odd request. Mars tried to set the record straight on Facebook:

“The story was twisted and I never ‘demanded’ anything as such,” she wrote. “We were intending to include everyone with an invitation to what is supposed to be a healing and purifying ceremony for all.”

“Some guests are joining us along with the other people that do this with us around the world and others are not,” she added. “It’s all good. Blessings and thank you for giving me/us the benefit of the doubt.”
