All this week, Carson’s been bringing his A-game as the 9am co-host of the TODAY show.
It’s not an easy job. He’s eaten a metric ton of Cheez-It, sported some impromptu man-pris, and got cozy in bed with some high-tech gadgets.
“There’s a lot of antics, a lot of moving parts, a lot of people and so you feel like a Tasmanian devil in that building…I just walked out and I feel like I drank a few Red Bulls.”
And if you’re following Carson on Instagram, you’ll see a sneak peek of all the crazy stuff he got into today. Today there was biking and storm-proofing, just for starters:
Carson has been able to fit in a little fun amidst all the work. He took in a Yankees baseball game last night.
“I’m a big, big Yankees fan,” he said. “I probably watch over 120 Yankees games a year from LA with my son. I’ve got it on every device.”
He even brought the whole fam along with him!
“It was the first time I took Jackson and my daughter Etta and Siri and me and one of my best friends, who I used to always go to Yankees games with. It was awesome, just the baseball experience itself: the hotdogs, the game.”
Carson’s week in the Big Apple wraps up tomorrow. Catch him on NBC at 9am!
