Selena Gomez wants to “Slow Down,” but her career is speeding up!

Miss Gomez just released the official music video for “Slow Down,” the second single from her debut studio album Stars Dance.  In the video, the “Come & Get It” singer cruises down an empty street in a classic Mercedes-Benz (ooh, fancy!) and parties it up in a club Britney Spears style.  It seems like she’s working hard to shed that Disney image.  Let’s watch, shall we?

We likey!

“Slow Down” was produced by the Cataracs, the duo that cranked out hits for Snoop Dogg, Dev and Far East Movement.  It was written by Lindy Robbins, an up-and-coming songwriter from LA.

Selena just wrapped on filming for the screenplay Rudderless, and she’s set to star in the film version of the book “While I’m dead…feed the dog” on top of touring!  She’s been a busy little bee!

Like the single? Tell us about it, and get it on iTunes.
