Sorry to everyone who was planning on seeing Icona Pop Thursday night at the Fonda Theatre. Due to an illness with band member Aino Jawo, the duo has postponed their The Iconic Tour presented by Bed Head until September 6th, where it will resume in Salt Lake City.

Caroline Hjelt (the redheaded half of Icona Pop) released the following statement:

“We cannot tell you how sad we are and how much these shows meant to us. Our fans are so important to us and we live to perform on stage for you each night. We promise we’ll be back and will see you soon! In the meantime, please send lots of love and good energy Aino’s way!”

The band also mentioned they will make up the postponed shows. It’s a bummer L.A. fans won’t get to see Icona Pop for awhile, but we’re still looking forward to their full length album This Is… Icona Pop, which is out on September 24th.
