Texas Teens’ 911 Call Helps Rescue Kidnapped Woman

Texas police have released audio from an incredible 911 call where two teenage boys helped rescue a woman mouthing the words “help me” from the backseat of a car.

The day seemed just like any other to Aaron Arias, 19, and Jamal Harris, 17. They were riding together when they noticed an attractive woman in the car next to them.

However, they sensed something was off when she appeared to be mouthing for help and they immediately called 911.

“I’m witnessing a robbery, not a robbery, a kidnapping,” Arias told the dispatcher.

The teens continued to follow the car until police finally showed up and apprehended the suspect, Charles Atkins Lewis Jr.

“Thank God. You guys are awesome!” Arias exclaimed once help arrived. “Oh my God. Oh my God. Get him! Oh my God!”

Arias later told a local news station that he and Harris met the unidentified woman afterwards and she gave them, according to Arias, “the best hug I’ve ever gotten.”

Lewis is charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
