This Sunday, Hollywood’s most glamorous stars will gather at Nokia Theatre for a celebration of the best shows on TV.

Yes, the Emmy Awards have finally arrived!

Our very own Carson Daly will be in attendance. His little old show, The Voice, is nominated in the Reality-Competition Show category.

Earlier today, he and Producer Angie placed odds on not who they think will win, but who they want to win.

Best Drama Series looks to be a tough one with Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Homeland, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, and Mad Men all facing off against each other.

“This is straight from my heart. I don’t care about who probably will win. This is who I want to win,” Carson said. “I want Homeland to win.”

“I’m going with Homeland too, but I think that is the best show,” Producer Angie agreed. “This past season was so good.”

As for Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Carson is sticking by Homeland. He thinks Damian Lewis will be taking home a statue this time around.

Producer Angie, on the other hand, is rooting for The Newsroom’s Jeff Daniels.

“If you watch that show, he kills it on that show,” she told Carson.

Carson’s going with a full Homeland sweep. He predicts Claire Danes will win Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

But if you ask Angie, she thinks all the good buzz surrounding Scandal’s Kerry Washington will give her an advantage.

“I’m thinking Kerry Washington might be a surprise because she’s new this year and that show is really good…and she’s really great in it.”

Best Comedy Series nominees include The Big Bang Theory, Girls, Louie, Modern Family, 30 Rock, and Veep.

“I laugh the most when Louie’s on FX,” Carson said.

“Do you?” Angie asked. “I’m going with Girls.”

Best Actor in a Comedy Series has gone to Jim Parsons two out of the past three years and Carson thinks that trend will continue.

“He’s been winning forever, but I’m going to go with Alec Baldwin,” Angie said. “Last season of 30 Rock. I feel like it’s almost one of those things that he’s got to get it.”

There was no debate about the Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Both Carson and Producer Angie want GirlsLena Dunham to come out on top.

As for his own category, Carson isn’t too confident!

“I’m going with Amazing Race,” he admitted. “It’s won ten years in a row. Vegas odds are there.”

“I’m going to go with The Voice because I know some people who work there and I really want them to win, so I’m going to go with my heart!” Angie declared.

“I really think it has a shot,” she added. “It has so much momentum. I think it really has a fighting chance.”

One of the most interesting categories of the evening could turn out to be Best Variety Series.

“Finally the Jon Stewart trend is going to end and I think [Stephen] Colbert is going to get it and I think he deserves it,” Carson said.

“I’m going to go with Jimmy Kimmel. He’s unstoppable this year,” Angie explained. “He’s changed time slots. His show, if you watch it every night, it’s funny and it’s fresh and it’s new.”

The Emmy Awards air this Sunday at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
