The Voice Recap: “Rugrats” Star Shines In Blind Audition

No, you weren’t suffering from some sort of trippy, 90’s flashback hallucination last night.

The voice of Rugrats’ Tommy Pickles took to the stage on night two of the blind audititions!

E.G. Daily, who also starred as Dottie on Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, sang Faith Hill’s “Breathe.” Turns out, she’s got some serious chops!

Both Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green pressed their big red buttons and Daily opted to join Team Blake.

Shelton may have won this battle, but vying for the top talent hasn’t been easy for the three-time winning Voice mentor this time around.

Shelton appeared on the TODAY show this morning and said he feels like he has a bit of a bulls eye on his back.

“The other coaches keep making the point, mainly Adam, that in no professional sports team has anyone ever four-peated,” Carson paraphrased.

The coaches are duking it out early and often this season, but it wasn’t all business on last night’s episode.

Cee Lo couldn’t help but snap a cell phone of Jacquie Lee’s uber-stylish footwear.

“That’s my favorite moment of the show last night when Cee Lo was asking, ‘Did you get those at ALDO?'” Carson laughed. “When we shot that, it killed in the room. Every girl was just dying laughing.”

Can’t get enough of The Voice? There’s plenty more blind auditions on deck next Monday at 8pm on NBC.
