9-Year-Old Hops Plane To Las Vegas Without A Boarding Pass

No one told us they were making another Home Alone sequel!

The story of a 9-year-old boy hopping on a plane to Las Vegas without a boarding pass seems to be ripped straight from the Macaulay Culkin plotline.

On Wednesday, the boy apparently took the metro to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. He stole a piece of luggage from baggage claim and ate lunch at a restaurant that was located before you reach security screening.

He told the waitstaff he needed to use the restroom and never returned, leaving the bag and not paying for his meal.

The child returned to the airport the following day. He was somehow able to pass through security without a boarding pass and allegedly slipped by the gate checker when he was preoccupied with another passenger.

The flight staff became suspicious when they realized his name was not included on their unaccompanied minors list.

Once the plane landed in Las Vegas, the 9-year-old was taken into custody by The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Child Protective Services.

So where were his parents this whole time? His mother claims she thought he was at a friend’s house. Hmmm….
