“The Quarterback,” is a tribute to Monteith’s memory, featuring six heartfelt tracks.
According to E!, the episode begins a couple weeks after the death of Finn Hudson. It’s unclear how he died and does not include his funeral.
“I feel like, for me personally, I’ve lost two people: Cory and Finn,” she explained. “Everyone is asking, ‘Is it hard to do this? Is it hard to be back at work?’ But the truth is, it’s no harder at work than it is in life — so we might as well all be together as a family supporting each other to get through this together.”
A preview released last week features a tearful Michele and a makeshift memorial constructed by the McKinley High students.
Glee is no stranger to facing hard-hitting issues, but the death of both Cory and his character Finn Hudson certainly hits close to home.
FOX is encouraging fans to share their memories of Monteith on Twitter tonight with the hashtag #RememberingCory.
