Katy Perry is headlining an exclusive concert at the Hollywood Bowl with Ellie Goulding, Sara Bareilles, Tegan & Sara, and Kacey Musgraves. All these lovely ladies will join her onstage October 23 for AMP Radio & Citi Presents Katy Perry’s “We Can Survive – Music For Life.” The “We Can Survive” concert, presented by Citi, will come one day after the release of Katy’s newest album, PRISM, featuring the smash No. 1 single “Roar.”
Kacey Musgraves is one of those talented artists. The country-pop vocalist is a fresh, unique voice on the scene. The 25-year-old Texas girl is full of snappy, literate lyrics and infectious melodies that defy country music standards and transcend genres.
Musgraves appeared on Nashville Star in 2007 and only placed 7th, but the young vocalist churned out hit after hit including “Merry Go Round” from her fourth album Same Trailer Different Park. Musgraves also has amazing writing credits to her name including co-writing Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart” and the gorgeous “Undermine” from hit television show Nashville.
100% of the benefit concert’s proceeds go towards the Young Survival Coalition, a charity dedicated towards helping young women diagnosed with breast cancer.
