Today, we celebrate Veterans Day, which honors the men and woman of our military who have risked their lives in service of our country.

Many large companies have stepped up this year with special deals just for our nation’s soldiers and their families.

Looking for some Veterans Day freebies? Well this is your one-stop shop!

Applebees

Veterans and active duty military get a free signature Thank You Meal on the house, which includes a choice of 7 oz. house sirloin, bacon cheddar cheeseburger, or several other options.

You must present valid form of identification or be in uniform.

California Pizza Kitchen

Veterans and active duty military personnel can enjoy any pizza on the menu, dine-in only. Veterans and active servicemen and women must bring proof of service, including military ID or arriving in uniform.

Chili’s

Veterans and active duty military can take advantage of a free entree on the restaurant’s special Veterans Day menu on Monday. Must show proof of military service.

Einstein Bagels

Start your Veterans Day morning with a hearty breakfast! From 5:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., all active, inactive and retired military personnel are eligible to receive a Free Signature or Classic Bagel and Shmear, or any other topping and no purchase is necessary.

Olive Garden

The Italian restaurant chain is serving up free meals from a special menu on Veterans Day for all veterans and military active duty.

During the entire month of November, current military service members and their families can enjoy 10 percent off in honor of Military Family Appreciation Month.

Hooters

Chow down on a free meal, up to $10.99 in value, with any beverage purchase. Must present a military ID or proof of service at any Hooters location.

Krispy Kreme

At participating locations, veterans and current military personnel can score a free doughnut and coffee. Proof of military service is required, or you can wear your uniform.

Red Robin

Red Robin is offering a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries to all Veterans and active duty military.

National Parks

Our national parks celebrate Veterans Day with a whole weekend of free admission for everyone. Free entry is valid from November 9-11.

Aquarium of the Pacific

In celebration of Veterans Day, the Long Beach aquarium is offering free admission with valid service ID for veterans, military personnel, police officers and firefighters on from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Knotts Berry Farm

From November 4 through January 5, 2014, veterans or current serving military personnel and one guest, with proper ID, can get into the amusement park for free. Six additional tickets may be purchased at a discounted rate of $22 each from November 4-27 and for $27 from November 28-January 5.

Great Clips

Veterans and current military personnel can receive free haircut or pick up a “Thank a Veteran Free Haircut Card” card to use any day before the end of the year.

Customers who also come in for a haircut at any U.S. Great Clips salon can also request a free haircut card to give to an active/inactive/retired military member of any branch, including the National Guard.

Sports Clips

All veterans and active-duty U.S. service members are eligible for a free haircut with valid proof of service.

The company will also donate $1 for every haircut service to the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ (VFW) Operation Uplink program.
