Another two artists were sent packing during last night’s elimination, but another lucky singer was spared just in the nick of time thanks to the instant save.
Rumors started swirling last week, but Levine’s official cover was revealed live on air at the top of the show.
“I know he’s excited. Who wouldn’t want to be Adam Levine? This guy’s living the dream!” Carson said Wednesday morning. “But honestly, I guarantee there’s a side of him that wishes this would’ve happened about three or four years ago when he wasn’t engaged because if you’re a guy, this is the ultimate calling card!”
After some group performances from the top ten, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton, it came down to Team Cee Lo’s Caroline Pennell and Kat Robichaud and Team Blake’s Austin Jenckes in the bottom three.

Caroline ending up in the bottom three came a surprise to many and her fan base came through big time with the instant save.
“It’s exciting at the end because you think you know who’s going to go home and someone else does!” Producer Angie said.
