The college football season is rapidly coming to a close, which means it’s time for Rivalry Week!
The #23 USC Trojans will face off against #22 UCLA at the Coliseum this Saturday at 5pm PT. If you’re not one of the lucky ones with tickets to the game, you can watch it all go down on ABC.
With ASU and Stanford already lined up to compete in the Pac-12 conference championship, this crosstown match-up doesn’t have huge implications on the Rose Bowl game, but as always, everybody’s playing for pride and the infamous Victory Bell.
USC has won 12 of the last 14 meetings, however, one of those losses happened just last year at the Rose Bowl.
Carson calls himself an honorary Bruin. No, he didn’t attend college there, but he’s been a lifelong fan.
And then there’s me, Sarah. I work behind-the-scenes at the AMP morning show and I graduated from USC in 2008…Fight On!
Every year, the two of us engage in a some serious smack talk in honor of the big game and this year is no exception.
This morning, we decided to wager a friendly bet to up the ante, but we haven’t settled on an exact plan yet. Do you have any good ideas of how we can embarrass the loser? Send it our way.
USC officially got Rivalry Week started Monday night during its 10th Annual Conquest Pep Rally. Coach O. fired up the team, the marching band got the crowd dancing, and Jason Derulo headlined the on-campus concert.
UCLA’s Beat ‘SC Bonfire and Rally is scheduled to take place tonight at 6:30pm at Wilson Plaza.
