With only six artists left remaining on The Voice, it’s clear it’s going to be a tough battle from here on out until the finale.

Tonight, one of them will be eliminated via the Instant Save, which means you better be paying attention to Twitter around 6:50pm PT in case one of your favorites ends up in the bottom two!

Last night, the top 6 each sang two songs: one coach’s pick and one dedication song.

As host of the show, Carson never likes to name favorites, but Producer Angie chimed in with some of her thoughts and predictions:

“Jacquie Lee totally stole the night when she sang ‘Cry Baby,” she told Carson. “It was one of those moments where I’m like, we’re totally watching a girl, a 16-year-old girl, who’s going to be a huge, huge star. That girl sings her heart out.”

Angie also thought Tessanne Chin’s “Redemption Song” was a standout performance and America seems to agree. She charted the highest out of anyone else with that track at #13 on iTunes.

Despite two strong performances Monday night, Carson revealed that James Wolpert was actually sick as a dog.

“He could barely speak and we had, there’s like a Voice doctor who’s on set and he was working with him, shooting him up with steroids and the whole thing just to get him to sing.”

Hopefully it doesn’t hurt Team Adam’s impressive showing. All three of his contestants are still in the running for the whole enchilada.

“Is it possible Adam’s going to go unscathed for the third or fourth straight week?” Carson asked aloud. “Is it possible the top three could be from him?”

Only time will tell, but one thing Carson warns is that no one, not even the early frontrunners, are safe from elimination.

“We should just call it the Schuler Effect,” he explained. “He did ‘Hallelujah’ and Matthew’s been, you know, one of the frontrunners for sure for a long time, but then he had that one off-night and nobody voted for him. You’re only as strong as your last great song and you are vulnerable to go home if you don’t do that well.”

Just ask Cee Lo Green. He’s a man without a team following last week’s elimination, so that means either Team Christina, Blake, or Adam will end up on the chopping block.

Tonight, Kelly Clarkson will be performing live and season 1’s Xenia returns to The Voice stage for a holiday duet with coach Blake Shelton. Tune in at 9pm PT on NBC to watch it all go down!
