What To Do When It’s Really Cold Outside: Surfer Stephen’s Viral Video Of The Day
It’s currently hovering around 65 degrees here in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, the majority the country is dealing with a deep-freeze polar vortex.
What is a polar vortex? Well, it’s basically winds that surround the North Pole. They rotate in a counterclockwise circle, which locks these cold winds into a holding pattern.
From time to time, this system can get a little distorted and displaced, which allows the winds to blow further south and that’s what’s happening now.
It’s really nothing to play with for too long. If you’re caught outside in it unprepared, the cold can easily kill you.
I remember once when a friend and I were bar hopping in Madison, his mom called and said, “Stay inside, there’s a freeze warning.” So we did the smart thing and took alleyways from bar to bar with our backs pressed against the wall.
On to today’s Viral Video of the Day. Some kid decided to show everybody six fun activities you can do when it’s this cold living in the vortex.
Stay warm if you live in the vortex and if you live here, it’s supposed to get up to 80 this weekend, so get your bikinis ready!
