Jimmy Fallon & Bruce Springsteen Spoof Chris Christie’s “Bridgegate” Scandal

On the East Coast, people are still reeling, and rightfully so, over the New Jersey “Bridgegate” scandal.

The state’s most famous resident, Bruce Springsteen, decided to join Jimmy Fallon last night to weigh in on the controversy.

In a cover of The Boss’ “Born To Run,” the duo skewered Governor Chris Christie and the massive traffic jam his administration allegedly created to punish a local mayor who didn’t support Christie’s reelection campaign.

“You got Wall Street masters stuck cheek to cheek with blue collar truckers and man I really gotta take a leak, but I can’t,” sang Springsteen. I’m stuck in Governor Chris Christie’s Fort Lee New Jersey traffic jam.”

This isn’t the first time Springsteen and Fallon have teamed up.

Take a look back at one of our favorite bits, their rendition of Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair.”
