Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ Without The Music: Surfer Stephen’s Viral Video Of The Day

Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” was the third single released from the legendary 1982 Thriller album.

The song also featured the distinctive guitar sounds of one of the best guitarists of all-time, Eddie Van Halen.

The video for “Beat It” would set the tone for all videos to come on MTV, which cost MJ $150,000 to make and was filmed in downtown Los Angeles on Skid Row.

It looks like the internet has jumped on a new trend, which removes the music from some of the most iconic videos and turns them into pretty funny short films.

For today’s Viral Video of the Day, we’ll take a look a “Beat It” minus the music with some so-so commentary, but the idea is funny nonetheless and I’m sure there will be more great ones to come from the internet with this new trend.
