Carson Daly Reveals Olympic Team USA Opening Ceremony Uniforms

Working for the TODAY show has its perks.

As the official network of the Olympics, Carson and the rest of the crew at the morning news program had the honor of modeling the Team USA Opening Ceremony uniforms today.

This year’s ensemble includes a $75 belt, a $598 patchwork sweater, $165 white fleece pants, a $245 cream cotton turtleneck, $395 red-laced, black leather boots, and a wool knit hat with earflaps for the low, low prize of $95. The entire collection is available at and

During London’s 2012 summer Olympics, designer Ralph Lauren was criticized for manufacturing the wardrobe in China, but this time around, the outfits are 100% made in the USA.

According to USA Today, the wool for the sweaters and hats were “carted from Oregon, spun in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, and knit in California.”

Carson asked everyone for their feedback on Instagram and so far, the consensus is that the whole look is a little too ugly Christmas sweater party.
