Sochi Olympics Journalists Live-Tweet Hotel Horror Stories
On Friday, the entire world will be watching as Winter Olympics kick off in Sochi, Russia.
Athletes and journalists from across the globe have already arrived in preparation for the games and while conditions in the Olympic Village seem to be up to par, the same can’t be said for the hotels housing members of the media.
The accommodations are downright disgusting and in some cases, dangerous.
No running water, malfunctioning toilets, and lobbies without a floor are just some of the challenges thus far. And those people are the lucky ones. Some made reservations months ago only to find there were no rooms available when they arrived!
