Season 15 of the very popular reality television show ‘The Biggest Loser’ aired last night, and the internet has been going a bit crazy with opinions on whether or not this season’s winner lost too much weight.

24 year old Rachel Fredrickson took home the win, losing a whopping 155 pounds which was 59.62% of her body weight. She beat out competitor David Brown for the $250,000 cash prize, but when she revealed herself for the first time since the last episode before the finale, faces in the crowd showed concern.

There are even photos of trainers Jillian Michael’s and Bob Harper looking more shocked than happy about what they were seeing.

The majority of conversation happening online today is about whether or not this is a true representation of what is happening on the show. Many people feel that the program is creating contestants who leave with eating disorders, and that weight loss and health shouldn’t be a competition.

The story has been so heated today (Feb. 5) that the trainers felt the need to release a statement on twitter:

What do you think, should people be concerned about the drastic weight loss?
