You know what they say…time flies when you’re having fun (and watching The Voice blind auditions)!
The hit singing competition wrapped up its blind auditions Tuesday night and now each coach has 12 lucky vocalists to mentor.
What’s the next step? The cutthroat battle rounds. That’s when each coach pairs two of its own team members to face off against each other in a battle royale.
Only one can survive each match-up unless a coach uses one of their two precious steals.
“You know, normally with the battle rounds, you’d have to be a pretty hardcore fan to keep going down the path of must-see TV every Monday and Tuesday. I know families just love the blind auditions because it’s got that kind of game show feel to it, buttons pushing,” Carson explained.
“But I think we’ve tweaked the format enough by adding the steals that the last couple of seasons, [the battle rounds] are arguably more exciting than any other part of the show.”
