2 Dead, 23 Injured After SXSW Car Crash

Two people were killed and 23 injured when a suspected drunk driver plowed through a crowd of fans outside a SXSW festival venue in Austin, TX earlier this morning (March 13).

Police were attempting to pull over a silver Toyota when it suddenly turned into a blocked-off road near the Mohawk club where Tyler, The Creator was set to perform.

5 of the injured remain in critical condition. Authorities apprehended the suspect with a taser after he attempted to flee the scene.


The driver faces two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault with a vehicle.
