It’s currently the month of March, and  you know what that means…two of the biggest times to drink.

St. Paddy’s Day & March Madness!

So whether you’re chugging a brewski, slamming down a shot, or sipping on your cocktail, here’s a list of songs inspired by America’s favorite pastime – drinking!

When you wake up feeling green after one too many on March 18th and vow to never drink again, just listen to one of these songs and you’ll change your mind.

“Pour It Up” – Rihanna

Off of her 2012 Unapologetic album, Rihanna sings about strips clubs, Patron shots, money, and nice cars.  What more could you want?  Just another day in the crazy-fabulous life of Rihanna!

“Gin And Juice” – Snoop Dogg

How can this song not be included on this list?  This was Snoop Dogg‘s second single of his debut album, Doggystyle, released in 1994.  The Long Beach native is the embodiment of having a good time, and it’s impossible to hear this song and not want to start pouring the Tanqueray!

“Pass the Covousier, Part II” –  Busta Rhymes ft. Pharell
Nothing sounds more refined then Busta Rhymes and cognac right?  This hit single from 2002’s Genesis, features “Happy” singer Pharrell and P.Diddy.  The track was also produced by millennial hit makers, The Neptunes, ie: Pharrell and Chad Hugo.
“Hold My Liquor” – Kayne West
Gotta throw in some Yeezy!  Off of his latest release, Yeezus, the song features Cheif Keef,  and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver.  With a five-and-a-half minute runtime, the song’s drone-like sound, and thumping bass line, it overall makes you feel like you’re in a drunk-like state.
“Tipsy” – J-Kwon
This 2004 hit from rapper J-Kwon is a club favorite!  And as it turns out, according to a 2013 interview with The New York Times, it’s one of Kayne’s favorites too!  This song is all about having fun, and getting a little “tipsy” with your friends!
“Shots” – LMFAO ft. Lil Jon
LMFAO likes to party!  And this song clearly sounds like it!  Released in 2009, as a third single from their smash hit album, Party Rock, this song makes for a great drinking in Vegas anthem! All together now – Shots! Shots! Shots! Shots!
“Pop Champagne” – Jim Jones and Ron Browz ft. Juelz Santana
This 2008 hit song features a collaboration between Jim Jones and producer Ron Browz.  The auto-tuned vocals and the simple bass make it the perfect song to groove in the club with a bottle of champagne on ice!
“Alkaholik” –  Xzibit
Before MTV’s Pimp My Ride, Xzibit was busting out the jams, like this one from his 2000 album, Restless.  although this song was not released as a single, it became a big fan favorite!  X went on to do other projects, including acting in several movies, joining the design team of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and becoming a partner in premium tequila brand, Bonita Platinum.
“Blame It (On The Alcohol)” – Jamie Foxx ft. T-Pain
Off of the actor/singer’s third album, Intuition, this song won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 2010.  He has also been nominated for a Grammy nine times! Foxx was featured on hit tracks like Kayne West’s “Gold Digger,” singing the part of Ray Charles, and also on the song “Georgia” by Ludacris.
“Tik Tok” – Kesha
With lines like, “brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack,” and “‘aint got a care in the world, but got plenty of beer,” this song has to be included on the list!  Released off her debut 2009 album, Animal, the song became the second best-selling single in digital history (“I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas ranked number one)!  Kesha recently announced earlier this month that she would be removing the dollar sign from her name.
“Drunk In Love” – Beyoncé
Beyoncé surprised everyone when she released her fifth album, titled Beyoncé, in December, and it quickly debuted at the top of the Billboard charts!  Queen Bey opened this year’s Grammy Awards with her husband Jay Z, performing her sexy and scandalous single.  #Surfboard
“Crack A Bottle” – Eminem, Dr. Dre, and 50 Cent
The first single off of Eminem‘s 2009 album, Relapse, won a Grammy in 2010 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.  This song is a collaboration by three major stars in the hip hop world, and packs a punch for any soundtrack on a night out!
“Raise Your Glass” – Pink
Pop heroine, Pink, released this chart-topping single in 2010, off her greatest hits album.  After so much good music that year, it most certainly became an anthem to have fun and party!  “So if you’re too cool for school,” or wanna have a good time, listen to this track!
“Swimming Pools (Drank)” – Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar took the music world my storm with his debut 2012 album, good kid, M.A.A.D. city.  This first single depicts a swimming pool full of liquor and diving in it!  Sounds lavish, and strange, and yet, awesome at the same time!  The song was nominated for Best Rap Performance at this year’s Grammy Awards.  Although the win went to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Macklemore openly stated that Kendrick deserved to win.
“Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” – Katy Perry
This infectious song by pop princess, Katy Perry, is the perfect summary of many party-goers Friday nights!  Released in 2010 on Teenage Dream, the music video is even more awesome!  Perry plays teenage alter-ego, Kathy Beth Terry, who wakes up to find out (via social media) that she had a huge party at her house and had the night of her life!
