April Fools’ Day Office Pranks: Carson Daly & Producer Angie Share Their Favorites
Carson’s not a fan of April Fools’ Day, but even he has dreamed of ways he could prank our very own listeners.
“I always thought it’d be fun to switch radio stations,” he told Producer Angie. “What’s fun is if you and I were on a hip hop station and Big Boi was playing Katy Perry. That would be fun, but no one thinks that’s a good idea except me!”
“Big C-Daly” even shared a little taste of what his hip hop radio DJ audition would sound like. Take a listen:
For those of you who aren’t big time radio personalities, Producer Angie found a list of easy pranks you can pull off with household products.
- If someone has a computer mouse on their desk, tape a piece of paper over the laser underneath it and they’ll have no idea why it stopped working.
- Buy a bag of Skittles, M&M’s, and Reese’s Pieces and mix them all together in one candy bowl. Watch people’s reactions as they get totally blindsided by the taste.
- Print a sign that says “The office copier repairman came and installed a voice-activation system. Instead of hitting copy, all you have to do now is say, ‘4 copies’ in a very loud and clear voice and it will copy automatically.” Try to hold in your laughter as your gullible co-workers start screaming at the machine.
- Pop the keys off of somebody’s computer keyboard and rearrange the letters in a crazy way.
