Lindsay Lohan & David Letterman Prank Call Oprah On “The Late Show”

David Letterman may be 66 years old and a year away from retirement, but even he turned into a 13-year-old little boy when he found out Lindsay Lohan has Oprah Winfrey on speed dial.

Lohan was appearing on The Late Show Wednesday night to promote her OWN docuseries when Dave admitted that he’s tried to call Oprah, but has never been able to “get through.”

The 27-year-old actress bet him she could get O on the line, so he dialed her up, posing as Lohan’s fake secretary.

It didn’t take Oprah long to figure out she was being punked, so Letterman was forced to come clean.

“It’s Dave, Oprah, it’s Dave,” he said.

“Oh my God,” she laughed. “Very good, Dave! The David Letterman who’s retiring?”

Oprah has become a bit of mentor to Lohan and commented on the actress’ struggle to get her life back on track.

“To have cameras following you around for every phase of your life, and you are trying to pull your life together, I think that’s a really difficult thing,” she continued. “So, yeah, we’re really pleased she’s making some progress.”

“Oprah, I’ve spent 30 years trying to pull my life together. Where the hell have you been?” Letterman joked.
