Justin Bieber Released After Being Detained at LAX
Justin Bieber might just want to stop traveling all together.
Only days after apologizing to fans in China and Japan after posting a photo of himself in prayer outside the The Yaskuni Shrine, which honors individuals who died in service to the Empire of Japan, the Biebz was questioned by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday (April 24) after his trip to Asia.
According to a statement given to The Hollywood Reporter from Bieber’s reps, the pop star he was held three to four hours before being let go. No word on why he was originally detained though as THS points out, it is standard procedure for non-citizens to be detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) upon entering the U.S. if they have committed a prior crime.
