According to National Geographic, recent research suggests that human beings naturally define beauty based on symmetry. Studies show that attraction to the opposite sex could be based on proportions that represent biological fitness. Anaface.com allows you to score your face for facial beauty by analyzing an uploaded selfie.

Take a look at how these celebrities scored on a scale from 1-10 with ten being beautiful. Note that some celebrity scores may not be totally accurate as some of them may have gone under the knife and had countless surgical procedures which may significantly alter their results.

You’ll be surprised to find that most of them scored average on the symmetrical beauty scale with the pictures we used.

(Editor’s note: We recognize that there are so many more factors that go into being beautiful like personality, style, and being beautiful on the inside. All of these pop stars are hotties to us because they make awesome music, show up for the community, and rock great style. Just because someone’s face is symmetrically perfect according to science (or rather, a website gone viral) doesn’t make them the hottest. Beauty is subjective, an individual experience, and something that’s influenced a bit by societal standards. Bottom line is that this little experiment was done exclusively for entertainment purposes. We are all “beautiful” to someone.)
