Mariah Carey Announces New Album ‘Me. I Am Mariah’

By Courtney E. Smith

It’s been a long wait, but Mariah Carey has finally confirmed her new album’s title and release date.

In an online video, Carey revealed her new album art, which features a variation of the sea-chanteuse artwork we’ve seen already and a back cover designed by herself — a self portrait, drawn at age three. She also let it be known that the album will be called Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse. And that it will officially drop on May 27, pushing back the May 6 date that was bandied about previously.

The video, below, also gives us the album’s track list. Among the songs making the cut are her hit duet with Miguel “Beautiful;” the current single “You’re Mine (Eternal); and features from Wale, Nas, Fabolous and Dem Babies a.k.a. Monroe and Moroccan.
