Believe it or not, but we are less than one week away from the finale of The Voice!
Carson announced the final three in dramatic fashion. After declaring Jake Worthington and Josh Kaufman safe, the three girls had one last chance to sing for America and compete for the Twitter Instant Save.
“It was a nail biter down the stretch there,” Carson recapped earlier this morning.” I think people were surprised. The Instant Save was in full effect.”
When all was said and done, Christina Grimmie joined Jake and Josh in the final three.
“I don’t know how anybody’s not happy for the 18-year-old country kid, Jake Worthington, because he’s just such an earnest, young guy and he’s just so nice,” Carson said. “And then there’s Josh, who’s doing it for his family. He’s got so much soul.”
That means Team Adam’s Kat Perkins, who has won the Twitter Instant Save multiple times, finally ran out of her nine lives yesterday. Team Shakira’s Kristen Merlin also joined her on the chopping block.
