Rita Ora’s ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ Gets EDM Remix from Switch

“I Will Never Let You Down,” Rita Ora‘s first single from her upcoming studio album, already has quite the EDM pedigree. The summery pop track was originally written by dance music superstar, Calvin Harris, who also happens to be her boyfriend.

Now, the tune has been remixed specifically for the dance floor by DJ/producer Switch, who along with Diplo founded the group Major Lazer, although Switch is no longer with the band.

In Switch’s reliable hands, the jaunty, mid-tempo beat of the original version has been replaced with a funky classic house music rhythm and electro bass lines.

The new remix is taken from the upcoming compilation album, Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game, a collection of tracks inspired by this year’s World Cup games in Brazil. According to Billboard, each track from the comp will also serve as the inspiration for its own short film, with Spike Lee and Idris Elba among those tapped to direct the clips.
