I grew up skateboarding and was also an athlete and I have to say, by far, skateboarding is one of the hardest sports there is!

You literally have to try a trick thousands of times over and over and over again in order to even come close to completing it. Not only that, it hurts. It hurts bad when you slam.

Danny Way is the man and one of the best around, but he also displays the toughness it takes to be a skateboarder.

Much respect to any and all skateboarders because it’s tough, but you also learn some great life lessons. Like the word determination, which this adorable nine-year-old from Australia shows us in today’s Viral Video of the Day. Her name is Sabre Norris and she lands her first 540 on half pipe and is stoked about it.

Sabre started skateboarding when her mum wouldn’t buy her a bike because they didn’t have a garage to store it in, so she bought her a skateboard instead. Well done, mum. As they say in Australia, your daughter rips and by the looks of that 540, she has a bright future. Thanks to theBerrics.com for this rad video.
