Chris Brown Released from Jail After a Month
After a lengthy stint behind bars — though given his radio presence, you might not have known it — Chris Brown is a free man.
Rap-Up reports that the singer was released from prison early this morning (June 2) in Los Angeles, a fact backed up by multiple tweets from Brown himself.
“Back to the Music and the Fans,” he tweeted, followed with a post thanking God.
Brown had been incarcerated since March, shortly after being kicked out of a rehabilitation facility, arrested for probation violation. He was ordered to stay in jail in April and was eventually sentenced to a year in prison, though he was given multiple months of credit due to time in rehab and good behavior.
