It’s been five days since the Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup, but the celebrations are far from over.
They’ve appeared on Jimmy Kimmel and partied with the Dodgers, not to mention their formal parade and rally earlier this week in downtown Los Angeles.
Today, the hockey team celebrates their huge win with a parade through many of the South Bay’s beach communities, including Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach.
The players and mayors of each city will participate, riding in beds of 15 Toyota Tundras. The parade is expected to last 90 minutes as it travels through the Strand in Hermosa Beach.
The procession begins at 3 p.m. at the Redondo Beach Police Department and follows the route below:
1. BEGIN — Redondo Beach Police Department
2. Redondo Beach Pier turnaround
3. Left on Catalina
4. Left on Beryl
5. Right on Harbor
6. Left onto 2nd St to Strand
7. Right on 22nd St
8. Left on Hermosa Ave
9. Right on Greenwich Village
10. Left on Manhattan Ave
11. END – Manhattan Beach Blvd
