If you wanna look fresh on the court, on the beach or in the club, you’ll definitely need to be rocking the latest and greatest kicks on the market.
Whether you’re shooting hoops or just leaning on your ride in a parking lot, you’ll be hearing “Damn homie, those kicks are tight!”
Blow up your shine with these sick high-tech performance sneakers. With impressively cool color ways and designs that epitomize the summer time, these kicks are #icy.
Kobe 9 Elite Gold
The Kobe 9 Elite Gold is part of the Nike Basketball Elite Series Gold Collection that dropped earlier this month. The gold stamp swoosh and geometric shapes along the ankle panel and upper are crazy. The design features Flywire and Lunarlon technology and is the first basketball shoe to have a Flyknit upper. These are built for the court but designed to be shown off.
Nike Hyperdunk 2014
Light weight and breathable, your feet will stay cool during those dog days on the b-ball court. Designed to take a beating, the Hyperdunk’s hyper fuse construction and Flywire technology will give you max performance. The Lunarlon cushion will ease your landings after a slam dunk. Fresh and flexible, the Nike Hyperdunk 2014 is a bad-ass pair.
KD VI “What The KD”
These epic kicks are Kevin Durant’s sixth sneaker to be released in his signature series and the color ways are genius. Fusing 35 graphics and colors from the previous editions of KD VI color ways, these kicks tell Durant’s personal stories with their design. The bright and busy colors are perfect for casual summer stylin’ with a cool tee and dropped denim cut-off shorts.
Lebron 11 “South Beach”
Lebron 11 is a throwback and a shout out to the iconic ’80s color scheme of Miami. With its teal and pink on black colorway, these kicks are reminiscent of the good ol’ days i.e. pink flamingos, the crystalline swimming pools of the entrepreneurial elite and Miami Vice. They’re light weight and feature Flywire technology at the mid sole to help you kill it on the court this summer. That touch of sea foam green on the sole is also dope.
Nike Magista Tiempo 94 mid
Now this is a rad looking kick. With its over-sized tongue hanging down, the clear milky sole, dark navy laces and bright yellow branding, the Nike Magista Tiempo 94 Mid is a cop-worthy pair. The shoes are fashioned after a classic soccer cleat but the design is next level. The sickest thing about these kicks all-around is the ultra futuristic, space blue volt metallic leather.
Nike SB P-ROD 8
A skate shoe with the performance design of a basketball shoe? Amazing. The P-Rod 8 have an outsole tracking that gives a good grip when doing flips or flicks. Taking inspiration from the Air Jordan 1 , the P-Rod 8 has the tech for to keep you super cush when you come off rails. The blue fading in from the heel and sapphire sole are insane.
Lebron 11 Elite Gold
One word: icy. Coppin’ a pair of these bad boys might set you back a few c-notes, but the Lebron 11 Elite Gold are just so hot. The Lebron 11 maintains the same lower cut and external cage of the “Team” and “Hero” editions but the black with gold detail, sky blue sole, and red highlights along the upper, give these kicks a sleek look that will have you smashin’ your piggy bank.
FILA Cage “Mojito”
Fila teamed up with New York City based apparel brand Lemar and Dauley and out came the “Mojito” Cage. Borrowing its name from the minty cool rum drink of the Caribbean, the Mojito is entirely composed of a beautiful sea foam green suede and a floral design on the inside. With the feel of a classic cage, upgraded memory foam and the bottom of a FILA M-Squad, The Mojito Cage is probably the illest kick on the market.
KD VI Elite Gold
These kicks are fire. Joining the Lebron 11 and Kobe in the Elite Gold series, the KD VI stand on their own with new design features like its the “35-6” logo and black lighting bolt on the back heel. The gold swoosh covers upper and red accents peek out from underneath the mesh in a series of crossing diagonal lines. These kicks are likely the best of editions of the KD VI.
