Lana Del Rey Responds To Frances Bean Cobain’s Criticism, Denies Romanticizing Death

Lana Del Rey is speaking out against Frances Bean Cobain’s comments that she was romanticizing premature death in an interview with The Guardian. in which she claimed she wished she was dead already.

In the interview, Lana claimed she wishes she was dead, just like Kurt Cobain. His daughter took umbrage with the comment, tweeting yesterday (June 23) that Lana should “embrace life because you only get one.”

As NME points out, Lana has now responded to Frances Bean’s comments via Twitter. Agreeing with Frances that glamorizing death is not something she wants to do.

Yesterday, Lana tweeted directly at Cobain’s daughter, writing, “It’s all good. He was asking me a lot a out your dad I said I liked him because he was talented not because he died young.”
