Trey Songz’ “Na Na” is one of the catchiest songs of the summer, but we’ll admit it, sometimes we don’t even know what Mr. Steal Your Girl is saying when we sing along to the lyrics.

But never fear because Jimmy Kimmel is here!

He’s created the self-help segment, “New Lyrics For Old People,” to decipher what Songz’ serenade really means.

For example, “Ooh na-na, why you gotta act so naughty” translates to, “I question why you’ve behaved inappropriately, even though I am aroused,” Kimmel explained.

Songz himself had to step in to teach Jimmy the phrase “curving to the left.” Apparently, it’s the hip new lingo for ignoring or pushing away someone.
