Be A Fashion Warrior

Originally the chosen footwear of soldiers of the Roman Empire, gladiator sandals are taken to new heights this summer.

Now trending are the tall versions of the sandals, including the newly popular knee-length.

Pair styles like Stuart Weitzman’s “Gladiator Sandal”  or Steve Madden’s “Safari” with a breezy summer dress for an edgy, yet sweet look.

Cool & Comfortable

No longer just for the hippies, Birkenstocks have officially made a comeback. The German sandals, which were originally created as a comfortable, and often orthopedic shoe, are now seen on the fashionable likes of Heidi Klum, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Kourtney Kardashian.

The sandal is available now in various colors, styles, and textures, like the original Birkenstock Black Oiled Leather “Arizona” or an inspired style, such as Steve Madden’s “Boniella.”

Most likely the most popular sandal trend of the summer is the ankle strap sandal. Fans like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez love to flaunt this look with a sophisticated pair of heeled sandals, like Manolo Blahnik’s “Chaos Cuff” Sandal or Steve Madden’s “Stecy.”

Ankle strap flat sandals also are super cute paired with a flowing maxi dress or skirt this summer, like Chinese Laudry’s “Laguna” Sandal or Topshop’s “Hotbed” Sandal.
