Who says science isn’t tasty?
3D Systems has created a machine called the ChefJet to create things like 3D printed candies, ombre neon sours, and geometric peppermints. And where are these being created? Right here in Los Angeles at a test kitchen called The Sugar Lab.
The ChefJet printers are the first kitchen-ready 3D printers, and they print in a variety of confectionery recipes, including frosting, milk chocolate, sugar and candy—with more to come.
The ChefJet is expected to be ready for sale by the end of 2014.
