Wedged in between the vacations, stay-cations, weekend getaways, and outdoor concerts is the summer workshop.

Many Angelenos are self-proclaimed workshop veterans who’ve already mastered the art of pairing wine with cheese, soap making, rolling sushi or hand painting silk scarves with organic pigments.

If you think you’ve already been there and done that, then perhaps it’s time to turn it up and venture outside of the conventional summer workshop.

Learn to fight like a Medieval warrior, survive the apocalypse in Los Angeles or simply add a little twerk to your yoga practice with these ten funky summer classes.
