Lil Wayne, Drake Launch Rap Battle App in Support of their Tour

Those planning at attend the Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour have got a new way to get close to the rappers in concert.

The pair have launched a new app, called DvsLW, that will allow the fans to get involved in the tour’s nightly rap battle.

Billboard reports that the app, available for iPhone and Android in the Apple and Google app stores, will let fans select their city, choose Drake or Lil Wayne and “button mash” to help their side “power up” during their rap battle to impact the live performances.

“We are both thrilled that our fans will get the unique opportunity to join us in this interactive experience,” Drake and Lil Wayne said in a joint press release statement.

The app was developed in collaboration with the duo’s tour sponsor, Capcom, the Japanese game developers behind Resident Evil and Street Fighter, among many others.
